Pastor Charles Ojei is a multifaceted servant of God who has touched countless lives through his dynamic ministry. As an apostle, he uplifts his congregation spiritually; as a teacher, he brings the Word of God alive in the hearts of his followers; and as a leader, he exemplifies Christ’s servant-leader principles. A motivational speaker, Pastor Ojei inspires audiences with his passion for Christian values, while as a counselor, he offers solace to homes and families. Known as a bridge builder, he leads souls from hope to divine fulfillment, demonstrating unwavering commitment to God’s mission.

Born to Peter and Alice Ojei in Bukuru, near Jos, Plateau State, Pastor Charles displayed determination from a young age. Raised by his mother, who became a widow early, Charles overcame numerous challenges with steadfast faith. These experiences shaped his life, fostering a deep relationship with God and a passion to guide others toward Christ. Ordained as an evangelist in 1992 at Solid Rock Assembly, Lagos, he faithfully served for years before receiving the divine call to establish The Lighted Church on December 11, 1999. With guidance from Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of The Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Charles embraced his mission to raise a people who would be “light to the world.”

The Lighted Church was born from Pastor Charles’s submission to God’s will, carrying the vision of transforming lives to reflect God’s boldness. In 2004, Pastor Charles expanded his ministry’s scope with the launch of Exploits, a quarterly business seminar aimed at empowering believers through Kingdom Wealth Principles. This initiative, along with other outreach programs, underscores his commitment to spreading the gospel globally and equipping people with spiritual and practical tools for success.

Beyond ministry, Pastor Charles is a trained Town Planner and the President and CEO of Forward Group, an international company with offices in Lagos and New York. He is happily married to Pastor Helen Chinye Ojei, and together they are blessed with two children, Sheila Charles-Ojei and Charles Chukwunonso Charles-Ojei. His life and ministry continue to inspire and lead countless souls toward God’s purpose.
