Women of Light

The Women of Light is the arm of the church that caters to the needs of the women in church. This, they do, by designing programs to make women shine as light in their homes and in all areas and facets of every person they meet. To better manage the women, they have been divided into various groups.
RACHAEL PRAYER WOMEN
The aim is to pray together as young wives and also welcome other new wives into the group.
The Rachael Women group has learnt to put their trust in God because every good and perfect gift comes from Him.
DORCAS PRAYER WOMEN
Dorcas (or Tabitha) was a native of Joppa, a seaport 40 miles West of Jerusalem. She was one of the disciples – a follower of Christ.
It was recorded in the bible that she spent her life in acts of kindness and charity. She was full of love for God. She was the second person that died and rose again in the bible. – the first was Lazarus.
When Peter came, the testimonies of her life (with evidence) were all over the place.
She served God in practical ways like sewing clothes for the poor and the widows. God is glorified and lives are changed through the simplest acts.
The Dorcas prayer women try to emulate her, doing acts of service for the kingdom, inside and beyond The Lighted Church.
SARAH PRAYER GROUP
The aim is to assist the church in looking after the wellbeing of younger marriages, children and The Lighted Church in general to stay united in Christ.
Our scriptural standpoint is in Philippians 4: 6-8,
6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
